I hope this message finds you well, even as we continue to hear about the challenging circumstances in Gaza. The situation in our beloved land is not improving; in fact, it seems to worsen with each passing hour, especially in terms of access to basic necessities such as food, water, and gasoline. However, we are determined to keep our faith strong in the Lord, for He has promised to be with us always.
Yesterday, with the Lord's guidance and your support, we were able to provide 920 meals consisting of rice and meat to the Christian community who have sought refuge in churches across Gaza.
We are grateful for our partnership with the Bible Society in Jerusalem, which has enabled us to extend this much-needed assistance.
Additionally, we have been able to supply some essential clothing items to those in need, with groceries set to arrive in the coming days.
The messages we receive from Gaza convey a mix of fear, anxiety, and worry. The basic necessities are increasingly difficult to come by, and the threat of conflict looms large. "Despite these challenges, our faith remains unshaken. In the midst of heavy bombings, we find ourselves singing praises to the Lord. Our leaders are working tirelessly to encourage our children through various activities, helping them overcome their fears and anxieties while channeling their energy in positive ways. We are focusing on sharing God's love and the message of salvation."
Christian families in Gaza are coming together in solidarity, sharing what little they have left in terms of food, water, and medicine. This sense of unity is a testament to the strength of our community during these trying times.
We humbly ask for your prayers. Please pray for the safety of the people and for peace to prevail in the midst of this conflict. Pray for the Lord to raise up peacemakers both around the world and in the region to bring an end to this horrible situation, where civilians on both sides have suffered. We also seek your prayers for wisdom and provision as Christian Mission to Gaza continues to reach out to the people there with the love of Christ.
